When asking fellow herbalists what they would want in an eye serum, they shared all types of wonderful herbs that contain lots of vitamins, anti inflammatory properties, and all the things that would help support all the issues I wanted to address with my skin personally.
I’ve dealt with dark, baggy eyes my whole life. And of course with age comes those lovely wrinkles. Herbs like Rosehips, calendula, and rose contain vitamin c and are rich in antioxidants that help to even out skin tone, and can help with dark circles. I also added chamomile and marshmallow root, when I think of these herbs I think of gentle herbs that are wonderful to help calm irritated skin.
I used a mixture of Avacado oil, and castor oil in this serum to infuse these herbs in and love them for their anti inflammatory, antioxidants, and vitamins that they carry. Together they the are deeply moisturizing and the vitamins that they contain also help to support wrinkles, irritation, and again dark spots. Avacado oil rates well on the comedogenic scale so it is a good oil for multiple skin types and should not clog your pores. Avacado oil also contains fatty acids which may help stimulate collagen production. Castor oil has very similar properties and makes a great addition to help combat dark, puffy, dehydrated skin. Lastly I put a small amount of high grade, frankincense in here which has anti inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti stringent properties which can help support things such as irritated skin, and to help tighten and even skin tone.
I recommend using this at night, applying on clean and dry skin. Stick it in the fridge to add a cooling effect to the roller to help with puffy eyes. Roll under your eyes, then use your finger to help pat in, and distribute any extra serum around your eye. 🌼🌼
Roller bottle designs vary and you will receive one of the listed roller bottles in the above picture.
